(2004) An epic love story centered around an older man who reads
aloud to an older, alziehmer woman whom he regularly visits. From a
faded notebook, the old man's words bring to life the story about a
couple who is separated by World War II, and is then passionately
reunited, seven years later, after they have taken different paths.
Though her memory has faded, his words give her the chance to
relive her turbulent youth and the unforgettable love they shared.

(1998) A movie about the love of soul mates fighting to be together on
earth, in hell, and finally in heaven. My favorite scene is when Annie
told Chris at the mental rehab center that he didn't join her grief
when their own children died tragically from an accident. Chris then
realized that he was wrong to be able to cope with the children's
death and left Annie in her grief by herself.

(1995) The film is set in the summer of 1965. It tells the story of
Francesca, a lonely Italian Iowa housewife. While her husband and
children are away at the Illinois State Fair, she meets and falls in
love with a photographer who has come to Madison County, Iowa
to create a photographic essay for National Geographic on the
covered bridges in the area. The four days they spend together
are a turning point in her life and she writes of her experience in
a diary which is discovered by her children after her death.
